Ehrhoff Leads Sabres to 3-1 Win over Montreal in Sabres Debut

The Sabres won their 2nd game of the preseason on the back of a 2 point night from offseason addition Christian Ehrhoff. The Sabres got on the board first with 4:29 left in the opening frame when Ehrhoff found Jason Pominville who would put the puck past Canadiens Goaltender Petr Budaj. Montreal would tie the game in the 2nd Period with 1:24 remaining in the period on a PK Subban Power Play Marker. Ehrhoff would cap off his Sabres debut scoring the game winner 6:07 into the 3rd on the Power Play letting a Wrist Shot go from the top of the faceoff circle. Tyler Ennis would add an empty net goal with 3 seconds left to cap off the scoring. Ryan Miller and Jhonas Enroth looked strong on the night. Miller stopped all 11 shots he faced in almost 33 minutes of on ice time. Enroth who got the win stopped 12 of 13 shots over the last 27 minutes.

The Sabres next game will be on Friday night which will be the first of 3 games in 3 nights. The Sabres travel up the QEW to take on the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday Night at 7:00 PM. The Game can be seen on NHLN-US.
