Newcomer Cody Hodgson had a strong game playing on a line with Tyler Ennis and Drew Stafford. Hodgson played 16:04, a +1 Rating, and 4 shots on goal. Hodgson played a key role on the 2nd Sabres goal winning a race to the puck on a dump in which would help the Sabres convert a few seconds later.
