The Sabres and First Round Pick from 2011 Joel Armia today agreed to a 3-year entry level contract worth 2.775 Million. Armia who was draft 16th overall by the Sabres last June had a strong year for Assat in the SM-liiga recording 38 Points(18 G, 20 A) in 54 Games. Armia also had a strong World Junior Tournament recording 7 Points(5 G, 2 A) in 7 games. He will likely play in SM-liiga for one more season and will have to complete his military commitments before he can come to the states and play for the Sabres organization.
