At the Montreal Forum, the Sabres take a 2-0 lead in the first period of Game 2, but the Habs go on to score the next seven goals and win going away, 7-3. “When they start coming,” said Sabres’ defenseman Tracy Pratt about the Canadiens, who lost only 10 games all season, “it’s like a tidal wave.” With a 2-0 lead in the series, Montreal is thinking sweep as the series heads to Buffalo’s Memorial Auditorium for Games 3 and 4.
